What motivated you to make this impact video?
Most people in the world don’t realize how harmful international aid can be when it doesn’t respect people’s rights to set their own development priorities and lead them. We wanted Palestinians to share brief stories about how dependence on international aid affects them in order to contribute to the local and global conversations about how international aid needs to change.
What do you want audiences to take away from this video?
That aid is not always helpful, even if well-intentioned.
